Years ago, we collaborated with Daniel, an Amish leather worker, on a vision of a wallet that would be completely hand-cut and laced. No machines are used to construct these wallets; only antique tools and primitive techniques. This laced wallet in natural black and white cowhide and black leather features a whip stitch - a pure and beautiful form of sturdy leather construction. It is the skilled craftsmanship and the patience of the Amish that continue to bring these wallets to life.
